BURNING & SAFETY TIPS
Here at Daisy Candle Barn, we want everyone to enjoy our soy wax candles
safely and offer the following tips:
· NEVER leave lit candles burning unattended
· Do NOT move candle while burning or if wax is hot
· ALWAYS keep lit candles away from children and pets
· Trim wick to ¼" before each lighting
· Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings and other flammable materials
· Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface
· Allow candles to burn until the surface is completely liquefied to prevent
"tunneling"
· Be sure candles are completely extinguished.
· Soy candles are meant to burn for long periods of time; avoid short
burns for better performance.

What if my candle doesn't smell very strong?
· Your candle might be newly made and needs to cure for up to two weeks.
The longer you wait to burn it, the stronger the scent will be.
Why can't I smell the scent? I only smell the candle burning?
· Sometimes, you will smell the burning smell the first time you burn
your candle because it either needs to be cured longer or it just needs
to get a good burn going. It shouldn't smell like that if you leave it
burning for an extended period of time.
What if I can't leave my candle burning long enough to completely liquefy?
· It is important that you burn your soy candle for longer times because
you will get better performace. However, if you cannot, you should be
able to use either a heat gun or a hot blow dryer to melt the wax down
completely flat. (If you burn your candle properly and let your candle
burn completely, this should not be needed.) (If you use a heat gun/blow
dryer, do not trim your wick before you do this)
